What C2KBlade™ is the best?
Each C2KBlade™ design has its unique difference. depending on material thickness, design and material composition, as well as the desired intent of the cut, the need for more or less flex, reduced heat build-up or material or material dimensions to be cut all impact which blade may work best.
How accurrate is the C2KGuide™?
The C2KGuide™ is designed for making mobile field cutting of fill packs, as such, it has variability in its cut angles built into its design. The fitment and rigidity of the packs being cut and the angle of the blade during the cut can affect cut quality and accuracy. The built-in angle setpoints in the C2KGuide™ indicate the cut angle but can vary from the angle listed in field cutting applications. The most accurate method of cutting is usually from a factory bandsaw with precision guides.
How long does the C2KBlades™ last?
The longevity of each C2KBlade™ on multiple factors. The fill material sheet thickness, the presence of foreign deposits on the material and the product polymer composition all can affect the blade lifespan. the C2KBlade™ can be resharpened like a standard knife to extend its useable life. Feedback from customers and internal testing show that the C2KBlades tend to last for up to 10 cells of field erected tower installation or up to 10 cells of factory built crossflow cooling tower installation. (approximately 2000 feet of cut)
